Well, I thought that I would post and update the blog about the significant moments that have been occurring as far as the baby is concerned. As of today, we are 18 and 1/2 weeks along and the doctor says the baby is developing quite well. Actually, my uterus (I hope that term is not offensive in everyday use- long story, but one lady was disgusted at me when I used that word in front of her) is the size that it should be at 20 weeks, so the baby is a big baby so far! We will see if the baby continues to be bigger than average or if the baby slows down to get back on the 'normal curve'....only time will tell!
A HUGE milestone for us occurred yesterday- I felt the baby!!! I assume the baby was kicking, but it could have been just moving around. Since then, I have felt the baby two other times! I am not sure if it is normal to feel the baby that much this soon, but I love everytime I feel it!!!

I question the whole "baby kicking" too. How do we know it's not an elbow or something? Oh, and I hated when Micaela would move so when she got out of hand I would bounce up and down until she stopped. I didn't lighten up on her until we knew that there could be complications and I was reminded that the baby moving means they are still alive. Keep that in mind when your little guys kicks start to become obnoxious.
